STUDIO THEATRE
The Bauhaus-inspired black box Studio Theatre is arguably the most exible space at the Toronto Centre
for the Arts. Featuring a portable platform system, the Studio can be congured in any number of ways,
each as effective as the other. The traditional proscenium theatre set-up for a play or presentation
may be the most popular option, but try out alley-style for a fashion show or in-the-round for a wrestling
match! Alternatively, seating can be removed altogether to accommodate a cabaret performance, a
seated dinner, or a standing cocktail reception. Like the Centre itself, this simple, streamlined, and
versatile space has endless possibilities. Let your imagination run wild!

MAIN STAGE
The crown jewel of the Toronto Centre for the Arts is the Main Stage Theatre, where plush red seats
and brass accents evoke the lush Art Deco theatres of the 20s and 30s. Elegant yet functional, the
theatre features wide seats for maximum comfort and enjoyment, no matter what the event may be.
Although designed for roadhouse-type performances such as large-scale musicals, ballets, dance, and
opera, this luxurious space can also be used for graduations, lectures, general meetings, rock concerts,
large recitals, and product launches. It is even possible to have dinner on stage! The Toronto Centre
for the Arts is proud to say that the Main Stage Theatre is home to the World Premiere Productions of
Ragtime, Fosse, and the 1993 revival of Showboat, in addition to long running musicals such as Jersey
Boys. Make your event world-class in the Main Stage Theatre!
