A MESSAGE FROM GREGG...

Hi Parents/Carers I just wanted to ask you to be extra thoughtful when dropping your children into school. I know the school run is a busy time especially when trying to find a parking space at that time.

However, can I ask you to refrain from stopping on the actual road outside the school and letting the children out as this is not just dangerous, but has also caused frustration to other road users. We are also aware that there is not enough signage to drivers, telling them that they are approaching a school and to be vigilant for children. The local authorities have been made aware of this. Thank you for your cooperation.

JIGSAW CELEBRATION

Last week we were celebrating people in our school who undersand that everyone is unique and special. Well done to:

EID PARTIES We will be hosting our Eid Parties on the afternoon of Tuesday 27th June 2017. This day will also be a non-uniform day. Please bring in some food or drink that you can share with your friends during the party. From Everybody at Halley we would like to wish you

‘Eid Mubarak’

‘I wrote a poem about refugees who have lost their identity. It’s really sad how they have to leave their homes but have no way of proving who they are when they arrive at their new place.

The poem took me about a week to write and I’m really proud of it’

‘I wrote a poem about refugees around the world. There are so many refugees who have come here by boat. It’s really sad how their homes are unsafe and the have to leave. The poem took me about 3-4 days to write and it makes me feel good that other people have read it’
