news / sports / business) and explain why you prefer this form of media to others.

1. Do you think newspapers are a reliable source of information about world and local events?

2. How important do you think it is to know what is going on in other parts of the world, and why?

- Internet: I have internet access at home, so it’s very easy to search or find out about anything just by a click everyday.

- There are so many kinds of news on the Internet. Above all, I’m often interested in ngoisao.net. From this, I can know different types of life from which I can learn a lot of lessons for my life, such as: how to solve a problems, how to behave to evryone, etc.

1. well, it depends on the kind of information. If it show sth about scientific issues, I think it is reliable. However, if it is information about social life, we should base on many respects. In short, we can’t say for sure whether it’s reliable or not.

2. Sure, it’s very important to know what’s going on in other parts of the world. As I know, our society can only develop from other countries’ improvement as well as mistakes. If we don’t know them, how can we find solutions easily when we’re in trouble?

overseas newspapers and explain some differences between the two.- as we know, there are so many differentces between domestic and

overseas, such as: languages, culture, law, etc. and these are differeces between two kinds of newspapers. Besides, foreign news are often more serious than that in our country.

3. Evaluate the effectiveness of different media.

- different media include different kinds of information. So that is the source of news. Also, we can compare the exactness of the news so that we can have the right remarks.

4. To what extent do you think journalists have a responsibility to the public?

- Sure, yes…in fact they have the main responsibility for what they write.

Journalists should report the truth and try and find out the truth in whatever story they are tackling. However too many are biased and affected by outside influences. The great journalists are those who tread their own path, report on what they see and hear and give the world stories we would not know about if it were not for them. They can make a huge difference.- Well…journalists have a significant influence on the public. What they write affects everyone a lot. Most people believe in it. If they tell the truth, it’s okay. But if they distort everything, trouble will come. In fact, it’s very hard to say! It depends on personal purposes.
