MARLEY AND ME FILM POSTER.

I think that this connotes the dog family genre perfectly. The poster is plain and simple which would draw more attention to the poster as there isn’t a lot going on in the poster. The background is plain which draws more attention to the dog, which is what you want in a film poster. The colour scheme is simple, White, red and black is used to convey the time when the film is our ad the red is a Christmas colour. Everything on this poster is simple which makes the overall look of the poster effective.

THE SHAGGY DOG FILM POSTER.

This poster is my second favourite as the dog is Tim Allen as you can see his eyes on the dog, the extreme close up of the dog shows that he is the main character in the film. The colour scheme is also white, black and red, which are the common colours used for the Disney films.

BEETHOVEN FILM POSTER.My third and final film

poster that I will be looking at closely is Beethoven. I was inspired by this poster as the close-up image of Beethoven was balancing his family on top of his head which makes the dog seem superior to the family members which makes the overall tine of the poster funny as dogs cannot be superior to humans. I also like the text that has been used in the film poster as the text is bold and easy to read.
