3USE QUALITY THREAD. The short, brittlefibers of old or inexpensive thread create more lint,. Buildup of lint can shortenyour machine’s life.

3NEVER SEW OVER PINS. If you hit a pin, theneedle may strike the throat plate or otherparts under the plate. This creates burrs,which catch the thread and cause it to breakor fray. It may also affect the timing andalignment of the needle and bobbin case.

3SEW SLOWLY OVER HEAVY LAYERS. Also use a longer stitch length.This prevents jamming or skewing of the needle.
