Übung 1.2.Spiele auf den schwarzen Tasten in einer Taktart, z. B. im 4/4-Takt. Später kannst du alle anderen Rhythmusübungen auch erst einmal nur auf den schwarzen Tasten üben. Wenn im Workshop mehrere Teilnehmer diese Übung in einem gemeinsamen Takt spielen, klingt alles gleich wesentlich weniger chaotisch, sondern schon viel musikalischer.
Übung 1.3.Nachdem du eine Taktart gewählt hast, kannst du dir einen musikalischen Aufbau überlegen, z. B. in zwei Varianten:Beginne mit ruhigen, langsamen Notenwerten in leiser Dynamik und steigere dann alles in Dynamik und Rhythmus (auf - und abschwellen).Dann starte laut und werde zum Schluss hin leise. Und schon klingt alles noch mehr nach Musik.
Übung 1.4.Versuche die Übungen 1.1.–1.3. mit den entsprechenden pentatonischen Tonleitern auch auf den weißen Tasten. Es kann sein, dass es nicht so leicht ist, immer die „richtigen“ Töne zu finden. Diese Übung ist eine erste „Gedächtnisübung“, da du dir die entsprechenden Töne merken musst. Wenn du mit dem Buch fortschreitest, wird es dir leichter fallen, dir Töne oder Akkorde zu merken.
Motiv und SequenzKleine Melodieabschnitte werden in der Musik als Motiv bezeichnet, wird dieses Motiv auf einer anderen Tonstufe wiederholt, nennt man das Sequenz.
Die rechte Hand spielt eine kleine Melodie (Motiv) aus drei verschiedenen Tönen (z. B. 1. 2. 3. Finger vom „c“ nach oben). Diese drei Töne können ebenso in umgekehrter Reihenfolge gespielt werden, also von oben nach unten. Die Reihenfolge kann auch grundsätzlich geändert werden, also nicht 1. 2. 3., sondern 1. 3. 2. Finger usw.
Piano 1–2
Probiere alle Variationen und Veränderungen, die bei Piano 1 vorgestellt werden, aus. Wenn du dann alles selbst kombinierst und in einer von dir selbst gewählten Reihenfolge spielst, bist du schon dabei zu improvisieren.
Piano 2 unterscheidet sich von Piano 1 nur durch die Verdopplung in den Notenwerten von Viertelnoten auf Achtelnoten, also durch die Diminution. Das Gegenteil ist die Vergrößerung, die Augmentation.
Diese Techniken der Veränderungen gibt es schon sehr lange, so hat auch Johann Sebastian Bach mit diesen Techniken z. B. bei seinen Inventionen, Sinfonien oder Fugen komponiert.

IntervalleEin Intervall bezeichnet den Abstand zwischen zwei Tönen. Das erste Intervall ist die Prime, z. B. vom „c“ zum „c“, und zwar wirklich zum selben Ton!
„c“ zum „d“ = Sekunde / 2„c“ zum „e“ = Terz / 3„c“ zum „f“ = Quarte / 4„c“ zum „g“ = Quinte / 5 „c“ zum „a“ = Sexte / 6„c“ zum „h“ = Septe / 7„c“ zum „c“ = Oktave / 8 – zum nächsthöheren oder -tieferen „c“„c“ zum „d“ = None / 9 – zum „d“, welches über der Oktave liegt
Für uns am Klavier ist ein Intervall letztendlich immer ein „Griff“. Diese Griffe kommen oft bei Begleitungen der linken Hand vor. Akkorde bestehen auch aus Intervallen, dazu mehr in Kapitel 2.
Die wichtigsten Intervalle sind für uns die Terz, Quinte und Oktave.
Eine Terz ist immer mit dem Abstand von drei Tönen aufgebaut, vom „c“ aus drei Töne nach oben zum „e“ oder drei Töne nach unten zum „a“. Eine Quinte ist immer mit dem Abstand von fünf Tönen aufgebaut, vom „c“ aus fünf Töne nach oben zum „g“ oder fünf Töne nach unten zum „f“. Die Oktave ist leicht zu finden, es ist immer der gleiche Ton, z. B. das „c“ mit dem nächsthöheren oder -tieferen „c“.
Der erste Ton muss immer mitgezählt werden!
