Sophomore Delaney Haun took a trip to Ireland, even if it wasn’t the perfect summer weather, it was a trip worth the enjoyment. Leaving at the beginning of June Summer heat with 8 other students. “It was very welcoming, all the people were kind, and always were happy to see you,” said Delaney. It was an amazing experience from visiting castles to going on a carriage tour ride it was worth to see beautiful sites everywhere. “They have a lot of hills and everything is healthy and green,” said Delaney. The history of all the trip stops brought the beauty of it all along with the activities of going around seeing what Ireland had to offer. LIFE'S A HOOT! Summer Travels
Throw a shrimp on the Barbie! Senior Trevin Konely took an amazing trip to Australia inthe hot, June summer with 6 other students from Nebraska. “The greatest part about the trip was the people I met andtraveled with. Never have I met so many new people,” saidKonley Going to Australia was a total cost of $4,000 fromsurfing, touring the Sydney Opera House to hanging fromthe locals. The difference that really stands out to onley was thefood variety. “ I loved to travel and explore since mydad is a pilot, I’ve always been able to do so.I also love seeing new culture” said Konley. The trip turned out to be the best everwith the urge to even go back, “I wouldwant to meet up with the people I traveledwith last summer and relive past memories,”Konley said with great excitement.
To Australia
Getting the chance to go to Costa Rica? Why not? Senior Gabriela Aguilar took a trip to Costa Rica during the Summer days of June with 5 otherstudents. Even though the trip was around $2,000, it was well worth the experience from zip-lining,snorkeling, learning how to make coffee and chocolate to have the chance to visit an elementaryschool being such a welcoming experience. “I would go back to Costa Rica again to find our tour guide because he was super helpful,”Gabriela said. It turned out to be a good experience for Gabriela because it was differentcompared to here. “Everything was so open, there were no doors. There were lots of stray dogs,” Gabriela said. Thesummer trip was one to be a very memorable experience.
