Welcome to Nordic First Aid 2018. On behalf of the organisations behind the congress and Danish First Aid Council, it is a great privilege to invite you to participate in the first European congress for first aid instructors. The congress is held in close collaboration with Danish First Aid Council, Norwegian First Aid Council and Swedish Resuscitation Council.

Not only in Scandinavia but all over Europe, first aid instructors face the same challenge; how does one stay up-to-date with all aspects in the field of first aid? This is true when it comes to education and training but also in relation to the products used in first aid. We are proud to be able to present you with Nordic First Aid 2018 as a solution to that challenge.

The congress will take place 10 11 March 2018, at Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center, in the heart of Copenhagen. Copenhagen is easily reached from destinations all over Scandinavia and the rest of Europe and offers a wide variety of extraordinary experiences, covering everything from gastronomy, architecture, theatre, urban life and of course Tivoli, canal tours and the little mermaid. Copenhagen has it all!

Through keynote lectures, presentations, workshops and symposiums, participants will not only gain insights into the newest knowledge and research in first aid but also strengthen their competencies in communicating their knowledge and thereby make their education more exciting, involving and most importantly; make their course participants more capable of handling any first aid situation.

The exhibition will for many delegates, surely, be one of the congress highlights. No other place will first aid instructors meet such a broad collection of manufacturers and dealers of first aid training and educational equipment. In return, nowhere else will the manufacturers and the dealers meet so many users of their products gathered under one roof, many of which will have a final say in which new products to buy. We are convinced that both Exhibitors and Delegates will be able to make some really good bargains at Nordic First Aid 2018.

The Exhibition is an integrated part of Nordic First Aid and is conveniently located in the catering area, where breaks and lunches are enjoyed. Both delegates and exhibitors are invited to participate in the scavenger hunt, which will maximize traffic at all the stands. Please see page 11 for more details.

Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center is conveniently located in central Copenhagen within walking distance of the citys many attractions.

Its easy to find, whether you are arriving by air, rail or road. Besides the 679 rooms at Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center, we can offer you several other more central overnight options.

Easily accessible by air, rail or road:

Rail: A 10-minute walk from Copenhagens Central Station or a 5-minute walk from Dybblsbro Station.

Parking: There are ample parking opportunities in Tivoli Hotel & Congress Centers car park.

Air: Copenhagen Airport is only 9 km away. You can take a taxi or the train that departs from the Arrivals Hall at the airport. The total journey time to Dybblsbro Station takes about 25 minutes.

As exhibitors and sponsors you play a pivotal role in keeping the large group of instructors and educators updated on what is happening within the fields of first aid, education, and communication; which products can and will be relevant for first aid in the future?

Approximately 1,000 Northern European instructors and educators will attend Nordic First Aid to network and enhance their professional knowledge and skills within first aid as well as within communication and education. The focus will be on the latest knowledge and research. The instructors will get the possibility to really enhance their competencies through the many hands-on workshops. Through exciting and engaging education and the right first aid products they will improve their future course participants potential for handling first aid situations.
