Employment Horizons offers an environment rich with passion and positive reinforcement, providing job skills training and placement services designed to assist with mainstreaming individuals who experience barriers to employment.

Once again, Spring Brook Country Club will be our gracious host, providing access to their private venue and championship golf course. Dear Golf Colleagues:

As an eternal optimist, I have always been a firm believer that good things happen to those who wait and have patience. This is true for the truly dedicated staff at Employment Horizons that work endlessly to provide individuals with all the essential tools and preparedness needed to be successful.

While the COVID-19 pandemic gave us no choice but to cancel our 2020 Annual Golf Outing in June, we have been rewarded with a second chance. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to move forward and host a Fall Golf Outing on Oct. 19th, 2020. Our golf outing is our single largest fundraising event of the year, and the one that presents the least amount of risk to our supportive attendees. The outcome of the pandemic has forced us to cancel many other events that

great social distancing sport that will allow us to bring together our loyal golf and sponsor supporters.

Once again and especially this year, I’m so very proud to be serving as the Golf Committee Chair, representing an amazing organization that offers personal growth opportunities to individuals with disabilities and special needs. Employment Horizons offers an environment rich with passion and positive reinforcement, providing vocational education, job training and placement services for people with disabilities all designed to remove any barriers while creating mainstream employment opportunities.

Our 2019 event was an amazing success which produced results beyond our expectations, but we understand that this year’s event is very different and poses some unique challenges. It is our goal to continue the journey of raising funds for this remarkable organization. Thanks to all of our previous participants, your generosity has turned this annual golf outing into an outstanding event!

This year we have decided to move our host venue to Rockaway River Country Club, a classic private venue and championship golf course since 1915.
