What’s in a name?

Tinder Foundation makes these good things happen:

•  On 8th July 2013 we changed our name from Online Centres Foundation to Tinder Foundation and launched a new strategy

•  The reaction from partners has been great, but many have asked for an explanation so here it is …..

Why change? •  We have an ambitious new three year

strategy •  We outgrew the Online Centres Foundation

name •  We are a staff owned mutual so we involved

the staff and chose the name together - voting for it at our first AGM

(not an old name about where we’ve been)

Why Tinder?

•  We spark new ideas and innovation •  We ignite change at a local level •  We are able to take something small and

scale it up

Why a fingerprint on the logo?

•  We’re all about people •  Working with our partners, our scale means

we have helped millions of people …… and we care about each and every one of them
