Hang around after church and try the Ninja Course the kids crushed at the Summer Kickoff event yesterday. Pick up your preordered sack lunches in the lobby, set up your chair, and enjoy a little fellowship. Join us next Sunday after service for a celebration of fathers. There will be an axe throwing contest, door prizes, lawn games, and a picnic. The church will provide the burgers and dogs. Please bring your own lawn chairs and a dish to share - Last names beginning with: A-F salads, G-J chips, K-P sides, and Q-Z desserts. Please be sure to bring enough for yourself and any friends and family that attend with you on that day. It’s hard to believe summer is almost here, but it is. That means summer break for the kids. JBQ, Royal Rangers, and Missionettes will start up in the fall. United Youth will continue a usual. Students entering grade six are wel- come to attend Youth starting this week. Reserve July 15th through the 19th for the best week of your year! The cost this year is $140. Registration packets are available at the information center and Wednesday night youth. Your packet and fees are due Sunday, June 23rd. Ladies, let’s make this a summer of connection and relationship. As you make your summer plans, feel free to post an invitation to other women and their children on our Facebook page. Something as simple as an outing to the lake, a picnic at the park, or a trip to the library is a great opportunity for fellowship! Please consider signing up to adopt a section of the flower beds this year. We need individuals and families to clear one of 8 zones on the property once or twice a month. Further information, zone maps, and the sign up sheet are at the information center. Reserve your spot by signing up at the information desk in the lobby. The date is June 20th and the cost is $20. We will meet at the church at 8:30 am for the HF Bar Ranch in Buffalo and return about 6 pm. Pastor Tim Ligon will be speaking on Sunday, June 23rd. He is a missionary to West African pastors and the country of Togo. Sunday, June 30th we will meet at Pastor Craig’s for a fun night. There will be volleyball and a hotdog roast. The address is 2965 Pheasant Drive. June 30th is Family Sunday. Our kids will join us for the service. This is a great opportunity to invite family and friends as the children’s bell choir will be performing. A special message called “God Bless America” will be shared. Preschool Pond and Nursery are available. Parents, here are some questions to follow up and reinforce what your kids learned in Children’s Church. 1.
