This radio advert conforms to most codes and conventions. For example it includes a theme song /

music that relates within the theme of the advert. The music also attracts audience as it is lively and

upbeat, which what most radio adverts have as their background music. Because the music is up to

beat and unique, it is more likely to be remembered by audience.

This radio advert also conforms to the codes and convention of having only one voice over. This then

highlight the radio advert’s professional level as this ties the whole advert together. Using the same

voice for the voice over also highlights the continuity of the product. This radio advert also includes

information about the product that they are advertising, which is a main codes and convention of a

radio advert.

The length of this advert also conforms to its codes and conventions as the advert is 40 seconds

long, which most radio adverts normally are. This is a beneficial factor as 40 seconds covers all the

information that the audience needed.

Having said that, the only factor that this radio advert challenges other radio advert is through the

use of music; throughout the documentary, information are presented through the use of singing,

which only rarely happens with other radio adverts.
