Mengenai penggunaan teknologi maklumat, beta telah pun memperkenankan perlaksanaan Strategik E-
Kerajaan semenjak dari tahun 2000 lagi, dengan budget sebanyak B$1 bilion. Namun penggunaannya pada
setakat ini, masih sahaja di tahap yang rendah.
Begitu juga aplikasi IT, untuk kemudahan orang ramai berurusan dengan kerajaan, adalah masih sahaja belum dapat dianggap memuaskan, jika dibanding
dengan negara-negara lain di rantau ini.

SINGAPORE 1st in SEA 11th in the world:Singapore Reaching Everyone for Active Citizentry @Home or
REACH, launched in 2006 was restructured to move beyond
gathering feedback, to become the lead agency for engaging and
connecting with citizens using wide variety of traditional and new
media channels for citizens who are interested to engage the
government such as public forums, dialogue sessions, SMS,
telephone, email, facebook and twitter.
BAHRAIN 1st in Western Asia and 13th in the world;Citizens participation and constructive feedback was recognized
and implemented by changing the national portal and reprioritizing
its objectives, thereby achieving 85% of customer satisfaction on
the e-Gov programme as per May 2009 Survey
