A product‘s individual functions and features determine the best manufacturing process. Thermoforming avoids the high costs involved in injection moulding.

Vacuum moulding allows the profitable production of excellent-quality thin-walled and large items even with simple tools, both for large series and small runs. Using multi-cavity moulds makes this a particularly efficient option for small parts. The required product features define whether positive or negative moulding is used.

Twin-sheet thermoforming opens up new design options in manufacturing. Unlike the single-sheet process, twin-sheeting heats, moulds and fuses two plastic sheets in one single process. This makes it possible to produce extre-mely rigid and lightweight hollow parts. Further advanta-ges are the short development times and low tool costs.

Perfect transport logistics are guaranteed where con-tainers are stacked or combined in loading units. Special trays ensure fragile components are absolutely secure and perfectly packed for mobile production logistics. Each product is designed to meet the client‘s requirements and produced in line with the intended purpose. We can also provide support for manual and automatic tray handling as required.

The twin-sheet process in use at our company for years allows us to process mould areas of up to four square metres, enabling innovative and more diverse designs. Twin-sheeting also offers economic benefits thanks to shorter development times and lower tool costs.

As fossil resources become ever scarcer, industry is increasingly focussing on alternative materials. Working with leading specialists in biopolymer research, we have established materials based on renewable resources for thermoforming processes. These biodegradable materials have almost identical properties to conventional plastics. The substances can, in the right environmental conditions, rot away just like mature wood or indeed be incinerated without producing additional CO2.

SoilPODThe SoilPOD planter system is made from 100% renew- able materials. The fully biodegradable star planter con-tains AQUA-X-Pro granules. These hold water and are enriched with carbon fer tilizer to promote natural humus formation. The granules can absorb and store up to twenty times their volume in water, which they gradually release to the plants over a long period of time.
