Like many areas in the country, real estate sales in Southwest Colorado have increased significantly and prices – in certain areas and price ranges – are start-ing to rise. In fact, if you’re looking for an In-Town home in Durango under $350,000, you’ll likely find yourself bidding against other buyers. When markets experience the type of shift we’re going through now, misinfor-mation and unrealistic expectations abound. Some sellers will be unaware of their property’s increased value while others will mistakenly believe their prop-erty has increased in value overnight.
