(Foundation) is seeking a service provider to perform a full range of services related to the Foundation’s Telemarketing, Direct Mail and Email outreach programs. Interested and qualified service providers are invited to submit proposals which will be accepted until April 6, 2016 by 5:00 p.m. (MST). The selected provider will be offered a one-year contract with the UNM Foundation. While the initial contract will be offered for one year, the UNM Foundation Office of Annual Giving hopes to find a multi- year service provider.

The purpose of the expected contacts is to obtain new donations for UNM, keep existing donors informed about UNM activities to encourage additional contributions, establish a recognizable brand identity consistent with UNM’s recently-launched University-wide branding program and obtain updated biographic and demographic information. The budget for an initial one-year contract is $140,000. This budget must cover all costs related to services such as design, printing, postage, training, distribution costs, research costs and professional services. We seek to complete as many calling hours, mailings and emails as the above mentioned budget will allow. Our goal is to find a one-stop shop service provider. Preferred qualifications include but are not limited to: expertise in copy writing, proofing, post office delivery, knowledge of postal regulations and best practices, creative concepts/graphic design, printing, production, ability to analyze data and help define strategic target segments, knowledge of fundraising for public universities, quality control, detail-oriented and checks and balances in place. Respondents are encouraged to propose contractual arrangements offering the maximum benefit to the UNM Foundation in terms of segmentation for optimal gift size and donor participation, fees, lead times and flexibility. EVALUATION OF SERVICE PROVIDERS

1. Service provider’s ability to deliver in a timely manner; 2. Quality of the proposed services, as determined by the suggested distribution of contact methodologies. 3. Experience and expertise of copy writer(s), data programmer/analyst(s) and graphic designer(s); 4. Cost; 5. Service provider’s ability and willingness to comply with University of New Mexico and UNM Foundation branding standards; 6. Service provider’s demonstrated interest in higher education and the University of New Mexico; 7. Other criteria to be determined by the UNM Foundation Office of Annual Giving.

While cost is an important element of the evaluation process, the Foundation’s ultimate decision will include consideration of all relevant factors. A contract will be offered based upon the proposal(s) deemed most advantageous to the UNM Foundation. The UNM Foundation reserves the right to make a split award or multiple awards. All proposals must comply with the requirements below. PROPOSAL CONTENTS

1. Qualifications A. Briefly describe your firm’s history and background. B. Describe the proposed team that would work with the UNM Foundation and provide information about the

qualifications and expertise of each team member. C. How often does your team meet with your clients and for what purposes? D. Describe what makes your firm uniquely qualified to work on our account. E. Provide an example of how your firm is taking a leadership role within the industry.

2. Cost of Services

A. Please indicate how many mailings, emails, calling hours and other contacts are recommended and feasible within FY16-17 and the associated costs while keeping within scope of anticipated budget of $140,000.

3. Relevant Experience A. Outline relative experience including any specific higher education, non-profit client work. B. Please provide the following information for three higher education clients, preferably public universities.

1) Name, address, email and telephone number of the client and a representative who may be contacted. 2) Dates of relationship/contract. 3) A brief written description of the services performed. 4) A minimum of three samples of work created and completed on behalf of these clients (may include

direct mail pieces, emails and telemarketing letters/scripting). 4. Quality Assurance

1. Please describe quality control systems implemented and maintained by your company. Please be thorough and succinct. Proposals should be provided on single-spaced, single sided, 8 ½ x 11 inch paper in a font not smaller than 12 points via hard bound copy or pdf files. Please number each page ___ of ____ total pages. SUBMITTAL DEADLINE The UNM Foundation Office of Annual Giving will accept proposals until 5:00 p.m. (MST) on April 6, 2016.
