His proposed sculpture will be 12 feet tall crafted from the decommissioned street signs that were re- placed by the new Down- town Historic District street signs. The completed sculpture will be installed in September. The Dallas sculptor works with a variety of metals, found objects and stone to create beauty and unique forms. He received the Sculptor of the Year Award for Dallas/Fort Worth in 2015.
