Damages of Oil

• With the most recent example of the spill in the Gulf of Mexico, it is easy to see how harmful oil is to the environment as well as business.

• For example: One of the most popular businesses in Louisiana is the shrimping business. This business was completely destroyed due to the spill. This hurts the already hurting economy even more. Not to mention all of the fish, sea birds, and various other marine life that are being killed.

WHAT THE GOVERNMENT ‘PROMISED’

• As the United States’ supply of oil depleted, the US decided to go to the Middle East and take their oil.

• To this day, oil is still being mined out of the ground.

• The government’s plan is the reason why we’re the most hated country on the planet.

WHAT THE GOVERNMENT SAYS

• Even though global problems caused by oil are increasing, the government continues to sugar coat the problems because they just want to make their wallets obese.

• Does sugar coating stop this?

THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL

• We as a community can help stop the rapid mining of oil and risk poisoning the waters of the Earth by cutting back on the use of oil-based products.

• We don’t want the marine life to end up like this….
