Welcome
Thank you for being with us in worship this Sunday! Our mission at First Church is
to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are

“I am the resurrection and the life; those that believe in me, even though they die, yet shall they live.”
A TIME FOR FAMILY! For many, family mealtime has been lost in our overscheduled lives. With so much on our
plates, families spend little time around the dinner table. However, family meals are
important and here are just a few reasons why. Family meals:
• provide an opportunity for family members to come together, strengthen ties and build better relationships
• improve communication
• allow time for everyone to decompress
• create memories and traditions
Families, let’s mark our calendars for a meal together on Sunday, June 20th, in the Wesley
Worship Center immediately following 11AM worship. This time may be just what we
need—to sit down with one another before our hectic summer schedules are in full swing.
We have spent so much time away from fellowship with each other. Sitting around the
table to catch up is just the way to kick off summer! Our menu will be fried chicken,
mac & cheese, green beans, and . . . dessert, of course. No need to RSVP, but if you have
questions, please contact Jennifer Hupko, [email protected] or 843-448-7164.
We are—First Church Myrtle Beach! Our new logo was
approved last week by Church Council and will be
included in all printed materials and marketing efforts
going forward. The image is representative of our local
DNA—one of being a guiding light to reach all those in our
beach community and particularly the next generation.
Thanks to Danny Brown, a local graphic designer, for
guiding the process.
