Robotics as a strategic enabler 1/2
The Kromann report showed that DK can increase
productivity with 15% if they automise to the same
level as leading regions.
In average only 30% of the industries production
processes are automated implying that advance
process control is a key driver for more automation.
NOTE: Produktivitetsændring, hvis automation som i mest automatiserede land (Kromann report)
To realise the full potential we need to enable the industry strategically such
that they can implement automation solutions at a higher level as today (>2½
on the Genefke scale).
Focus: knowledge based, advanced technology automation as a strategic
tool to distance from the competitors and differentiate in the market
Advanced technology Cognitive robot technologies
Knowledge based cat. 2½ - 3
Digitalised knowledge-/processes
Strategic automation Effect on customer-/buy-parameters
Knowledge-/Competence build up
Decided, planned/prioritised, prepared
Robotics as a strategic enabler 2/2
Selected Cases from DK 1/2
Three examples where Digitalisation of knowledge-/processes were required and a strategic automation was reached.
Sorting of paving stones
Feeding of printing press
Hot-blade cutting of EPS for construction industry
High mix/low volume manufactoring is adressed through:
Robot co-worker
Robot as a tool
Flexibility by modulisation
Selected Cases from DK 2/2
