Since all students are unique, technology in a hybrid teaching format is a tool that can be
used to reach a greater number of students based on their individual needs.
So where does the teacher fit in???
• Since information is everywhere, the quality of teaching will make a difference in the effectiveness of the learning.
• Having a Hybrid or Blended learning model (face to face and online), can leverage the online skills students have already developed independent of our schools.
• The many students will find it more comfortable to be working in their environment instead of someone else's.
Shifting from teacher-centered to student-centered education & engaging them by connecting the curriculum with real life issues.
Examples of Hybrid Sites
• Stockbridge Moodle Site – Class website
• World History/Biology- Crash Course Video Lectures on Youtube.com
• Glogster – Interactive posters/portfolios
• Prezi- Presentation Tool
• Edmodo – Social Networking
Examples of Hybrid Sites
