Once upon a time there was a chicken. One day it laid an egg and sometime later out popped a little chicken. There was something different about this chicken. It had a beak, it had legs, it had eyes of course, but the colour, ohhh the colour, IT WAS PINK.

When the mother chicken saw it her eyes nearly popped out of her head. The little chicken was scared and ran away.

Later he came upon a horse. “ You will be a nice tasty supper. I am going to eat you up,” said the horse.“Why will you eat me? I am just a little pink chicken.” “Ohhhhh I thought you were pink grass. I am sorry little pink chicken”. So he carried on.

Later on he came across a cow. “Ohh, you look very tasty. I think I am going to eat you up.” “NO NO NO please don’t eat me up I am just a little chicken.” “Ohh I thought you were a piece of pink grass that tastes like cherries”

So the little chicken carried on. He was starting to get thirsty he found a river he hopped in. His colour just rubbed off.

He was so happy he found his mummy and lived happily ever after.
