What does it take to pursue a career in the Fire Service? You need the following qualifications and experience:• 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including

English and Maths• Ideally 3 A levels • Experience working with people in a voluntary

public service setting, such as police specials, youth leader, scouts, etc..

• A degree will be helpful for fast track to leadership

• Ideally be in your early 20s when you apply
