Unify had a great booth, and we had fantastic participation by customers and prospects. If you have not seen or heard about Unify’s BlueLight project running on our OScAR Openscape platform, it is a must for you to learn about it at Enterprise Connect or CEBIT. From a university student’s perspective, it is – without a doubt – the most advanced personal security and safety system for the university environment today. Every student having essentially a panic button on their mobile device, directly linking them instantly with the local authorities, and immediately pinpointing the student’s physical location to dispatch help, is incredible. Demonstrating the OScAR Blue light solution at MWC15 I have a daughter in college, and I want her to have it on her phone, as would every parent. But, the OScAR BlueLight platform doesn’t stop there. The application actually creates a social network of active students who can easily identify themselves and attach themselves to the physical safety mesh or network. This gives students the ability to help each other in addition to relying on local authorities. It is truly incredible in how it can and will create more and more awareness of what every student can do to help each other and strengthen the university family feeling that every college aspires to have in its environment. The BlueLight project is brand new, being piloted now with select universities, and there will be more announcements in the very near future.
