What does the mallard duck do
The mallard duck has a lot to tell about itself and I will tell what I know about it’s animal kingdom which is the bird kingdom.The mallard duck also breathes through its bill
Habitat
The mallard duck lives in many places like Asia,Europe and North Africa how do the get around ? well like most birds they fly and they migrate from North to South in winter.
What does a mallard eat
The mallard duck is a omnivore so it only eats wild rice, corn, wheat,plants,and flies, beetles,mollusks,and small fish,fish eggs
Protecting
The mallard duck would fly away or swim away, but at night they would sleep on the water to protect themselves.
Different Characteristics
The mallard duck is born from eggs and the mallard duck has 5 to 14 eggs and the babies are called ducklings . One characteristic is the green head and yellow bill of the mallard duck is a familiar sight to many people living in the Northern hemisphere.
NOT Endangered
The mallard duck is the least common to be endangered but it is estimated that there are 10 million mallard ducks still alive today.
There are a lot of things I like about the mallard duck how in protect itself, how it breathes, what young are called and how it gets around the world.
