Another year has flown by, but the college accomplished a ton including launching new career readiness courses, hiring two exciting new faculty, creating separate master’s degrees in accounting and tax, recruiting an excellent cohort for the new M.S. Business Analytics, offering numerous international tour opportunities for students, nearly reaching the first million dollars raised for the building upgrade, and completing approval of several new minors. One of the most amazing stories this year is the more than doubling in size of the Cal Poly Accounting Club. Hitting our industry-inspired goal of preparing 200 CPA ready graduates already seems possible within a few years.
