PRESS RELEASE Contact: Cara McCool Woolf, Executive Director Musical Arts Society of New Orleans 504.715.0818 [email protected] The Musical Arts Society of New Orleans (MASNO) presents The Golden Age of French Music with internationally acclaimed French pianist Philippe Bianconi, Saturday, April 7, 2018. MASNO welcomes back to Louisiana internationally acclaimed French pianist Philippe Bianconi for The Golden Age of French Music – a concert celebrating French piano music of the late 19 th and early 20 th centuries. Held at the beautiful Esplanade Studios on Esplanade Avenue, the concert will feature works by Chopin, Debussy, Messiaen, Saint-Saens, Fauré, and Ravel. (The full concert program is included below.) Following the concert, guests will enjoy a French-themed reception of wine and hors d’oeuvres catered by Chef Adrienne Flament-Resh of Boucherie. Tickets are $75 and include the concert and reception. Proceeds benefit the Musical Arts Society of New Orleans – a Louisiana nonprofit established in 1980 that supports emerging artists, champions music education, provides mentorships, manages the New Orleans International Piano Competition, and brings top classical performers to area stages.
