President’s Report
Sadly, we report the
death of popular
member Glenn
Shipway from Umina,
who passed away at
home on Tuesday 20th
October, following a long battle with bone
cancer, aged 76.
Glenn joined the club on 24th March 2015,
Member No. 311, and was a very keen and
enthusiastic member and motorcyclist.
Our prayers and sympathy to Chris and Family.

Committee Report During these Covid times your committee has continued to have regular monthly meetings. Unfortunately, the Pelican Rally had to be cancelled which was not unforeseen. Our venue, the Guide Camp at Somersby, was unavailable and Government Heath restrictions also played a big part. Club Events: As most of you would be aware, our usual events have all been cancelled. This includes meetings, hub-runs and gatherings at Jerry’s. Members with email addresses were notified of this in March and again in June. Members with bikes on Conditional Registration were also advised that if they wanted to use those bikes on public roads then they would need to fill in their log book to do so. Resignation of Secretary: At our September committee meeting we were advised by Bob de Vries that he was resigning as club Secretary. This came as quite a surprise to the committee members. Club Fees: At the October committee meeting it was decided that the renewal fees for 2021 would be reduced to $25 for current members. A renewal form is included in this edition. Please complete the form and include it when you make your payment.
Annual General Meeting: The AGM will be held on Tuesday 24th November at Ourimbah RSL Club commencing at 7.30 p.m. All committee positions will become vacant and members are strongly encouraged to nominate for the committee to lead the club into the future. As previously mentioned, the Secretary’s position is already vacant and both the President and the Treasurer have indicated that they are retiring at the end of this year. So, we need new blood. Committee nomination forms are included in this edition. We are restricted to a total of 44 persons in the room so you will need to pre-register if you intend to attend the meeting. It’s no good just turning up on the night and hoping you will be able to get in to the meeting. To register, send an email to [email protected] or ring 4328 4060. Social distancing requirements will be adhered to ie: 4 square metres between people and attendees must remain seated during the meeting. You will need to sign in to the club on arrival and we will also have our own attendance book at the meeting to register your details. We strongly advise you to bring your own pen to sign the register to avoid the risk of cross-contamination. If you have any flu-like symptoms, or have been in contact with a person who has the virus, or have been to a known “hot spot”, then DO NOT attend the meeting! _____________________________________

Call for Nominations for Office Bearers, Committee Members and Appointed Positions
Nominations are called for the positions of office bearers and committee as listed in The Flywheel, in
the style set out below. Nominations may be sent by mail to: The Secretary, CCCMCC, P.O. Box
9006, Wyoming NSW 2250; or by email to: [email protected] to arrive no later than 17th
NOVEMBER 2020.
Any member is welcome to nominate for any position; we need and welcome new members to the
committee.
If insufficient nominations are received for any of the positions, nominations will be invited during the
meeting. If more than one nomination is received for any one office bearer position, or more than 3
nominations are received for the Committee, a vote for the relevant position(s) will be held at the
AGM.
Nominations may be made by email but the nominator, seconder and the nominated person
must all send emails from the email addresses recorded on the Club membership register.
