In order to achieve high levels of success, an organization must possess a strong culture.

Pleasant Local Schools believe: “Culture is the behavior needed to drive the strategy that allows

you to WIN!”

Relationships are the heart of Pleasant’s success. As a community of learners, Pleasant has committed to 3 core values. These core values

define how we behave and interact with each other. The implementation of these values and behaviors creates a Spartan Strong Culture! It is

this culture that allows internal and external stakeholders to work in concert to “Unleash the Potential” of all community members!

Aligning our Arrows

Spartan Strong is more than a written document. It represents the actions that all stakeholders possess.

As a community of learners we work to hold each other accountable for implementing our core values and behaviors. These values and behaviors define

our Spartan Strong Culture.

By intentionally defining our culture, we are able to align everyone in our community. This alignment allows us to reach our vision, which is to Unleash

the Potential of all community members!

Leadership Matters!

20 square feet is a metaphor illustrating that each person influences the people within his/her direct

contact. The manner in which each person interacts with the people in his/her square feet sends ripples of influence to the square feet of

other community members.

In order to create a Spartan Strong Culture, it is imperative that each person recognizes the

importance of leading with positivity in his/her 20 square feet of influence.

Regardless of your age or position within the Spartan Strong Community, you are responsible for leading within your 20 square

feet.

Spartan Strong Culture Blueprint

The Values, Behaviors, and Outcomes are the blueprint for our Spartan Strong Culture.

These behaviors and results clearly articulate what Pleasant expects from each of the core

values.

The behaviors outlined in this blueprint specify how Pleasant engages with the learners in our

classrooms and how we operate our school. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where every

community member consistently engages with each other to produce elite results.
