Key Points
The purpose of making this Action Plan is to accomplish our teaching goals by using 21st Century learning skills like BLOOMS TAXONOMY.
This presentation is based on the learning outcomes from Intel Getting Started Program.
Long term To enhance conceptual thinking

Short term
The students will be able to:
Give basic information about Pakistan, its main cities, culture, languages, physical features and their locations.
Brain Storming:• Students will be asked the meaning of
“PAKISTAN”. (The land of Pure)• Teacher is to take a world map to the class to
exhibit location of Pakistan, its cities and its neighboring countries to generate discussion.
• Mind mapping:• Pupils will be asked to make a mind map of
what they know about Karachi, which includes famous buildings, places, food and lifestyle.
• Activity:• “What am I?” pupils will be given clues
(including pictures) and will be asked to guess the place.
Discussion:Above mentioned strategies will be discussed in detail
• Class assignment:• Read pg 12 to students.Home Task: Research work ( pg
13 project work)• TOPIC: My Country• Class assignment: Activity 2-A.
The students will apply their knowledge about the land firms of Pakistan so before this activity the information of Pakistan’s map should be recap in detail.
Challenge # 2:Students are very hesitant to work with the
opposite gender.
Reasonthey may be shy.
Solution:They should be motivated to compete with the
other gender. Also they need to be reinforced that they are better than each other and hence
they should help each other.
Challenge # 3 Motivating students to ask answer questions or
participate in class.
ReasonThey may not answer because they hesitate of
wrong answers and others making fun of them.
Solution Let students know that wrong answers are better
than staying quiet. Give stars or incentives to students who regularly answer.
