Parish’s Sacramental and Prayer Life Weekly Remembrance

The Sanctuary Lamp, which burns near the tabernacle, in church and is the reminder of our Lord’s presence in the Most Holy Eucharist, will burn in loving memory of:

John Charlan

Also, the altar bread and wine, which will become the Holy Body and Precious Blood of our Lord, was given in memory of John Charlan from his Loving Family.

After his resurrection he told his disciples: "Go out and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and

of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” (Rite of Baptism, Blessing of Water)

We congratulate and welcome those who were baptized last weekend:

William James Drake Madeline Elouise Milligan

Bianca Rose Lamendola

Jesus said: “from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.

For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother And be joined to his wife.

And the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two but one flesh.

Therefore what God has joined together, no human being must separate.”

(Mark 10:6-9)

We congratulate those who celebrated the Sacrament of Marriage last weekend in our Church:

Donald Joseph Royce & Lauren Ashley Tirri

“Is anyone among you suffering? They should pray…Is anyone

among you sick? They should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over them and anoint them with oil in the

name of the Lord.” (James 5:13,14)

Pray for the Sick:

Joseph Brucato Jr., Carol Brugaletta, Father Michael Burke, Louis Caprio,

Ralph Cicetti, Kathy Corrao, Robert Darpino, Carole DeSimone, Flo Felano,

Josephine Ganz, Marie Liffers, Margaret Link, Mary Maksuta,

Gloria Minnocci, Ronald Panipucci, Michael Renaldo, Kristen Sedlacik, Paul Tafuri, Michael Waldinger

Indeed for your faithful, Lord, Life is changed not ended,

And when this earthly dwelling turns to dust, An eternal dwelling is made ready for them in heaven.

Pray for the Dead:

Rose Ciano

To you, O Good and Gracious God,

who built your Holy Church

upon the apostles with Jesus Christ its cornerstone,

we come with thanksgiving for

allowing us to rebuild

our Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist.

Listen graciously to our prayers

that what we have made beautiful on earth

may truly be your dwelling place

where the faith is proclaimed,

the sacraments celebrated and charity increased.

As we rededicate our mother church, help us

to grow into the temple of your glory,

so that, constantly renewed by your grace,

we may be gathered by your hand

into the heavenly city, the New Jerusalem.

Through Christ our Lord.

AMEN

We were proud and excited to say that the net profit was $114,000.00, a $29,000.00 increase over last year’s festival. Moving the festival to Tuesday through Sunday, along with the perfect week of weather certainly contributed to wonderful and grateful total.
