Chapter 9

The Return to College

Welcome back. We're back in college again.

I'm sorry if this chapter isn't up to my normal standards, you won't miss much if you skip it. Chapter ten will start right as they return from college.

I had a hard time playing college without aspiration rewards so I didn't get a lot of good pictures. Somehow I failed to get a picture of their house.

I dug the hole before I moved them in. With Ian and Isaac's money I was able to build the basement and the first floor. I added the second floor after Electra and Ethan moved in.

In the distance you can see the college club I built. It's very sparse. They don't go very often because it's so cold.

I rebuilt it later to make it seem warmer. Not that it was.

I put the grill and table in the basement. There is a hole that lets the snow in.

The first floor has some ratty couches and a Coffee stand. I thought they could run it to make some extra money, but the girl that runs it won't leave my sims alone. She's always pranking them.

I put chess on this floor.

And a hot tub up on the top floor.

Ian and Isaac maxed all their skills but creativity at home so, they're writing novels.

Electra and Ethan are writing novels as well.

Not much goes on around here. They skill, do homework.

Write term papers. They have to share the one typewriter.

In one of his trips downtown with Ian. Isaac met Shannon. I liked her and he had two bolts for her. She seemed to like him too.

She let him have his first kiss.

And it seemed like she was the one. But a little while later, inside she started to reject him for everything. I didn't get a picture because it happened so fast. But they lost their crushes on each other and she really made me mad. So I sent him back out to find someone else. He found a girl on campus

that he had three bolts for and they fell in love. I'm missing more pictures. College kills me.

She didn't reject him for anything. Her name is Tammy.

She was much nicer than Shannon."Tammy, will you marry me."

"I'd love to."

"I'm glad I found you."

Your not supposed to break the computer."It's not my fault. I was trying to change my Major."

After they finished there sophomore year, Ian decided he would rather be a Fortune sim. Isaac decided to be a Popularity sim. For some strange reason the decided to switch their LTW. So now Ian wants to be in the Intelligence career, and Isaac wants to be in the Journalism career. I had them change their

majors to Economics for Ian and Art for Isaac. I hadn't decided what to lift this generation, at least not exactly and their LTW were on my list of possible lifts so it worked out perfectly.

Isaac was making friends with whoever passed by, they all were.

Because of Ian and Isaac going to the college club they were about half a semester ahead of Electra and Ethan. Electra decided to change to a popularity sim and chose music as her LTW which was perfect.

Ethan decided to stay a Knowledge sim so that his LTW would not change, which was to be the best in the Adventure career. I had Electra and Ethan choose the Literature Major.

Ok, College was crazy to play. I won't be sending any more there unless we need to lift one of the college careers.

Red hands again."Well, there’s nothing else to do."

Go make some friends, Ian you can look for a girlfriend.

When they run out of things to do I send them out to make snowmen.

Looks like there still avoiding the grilled cheese.

Crazy cheerleader. The door is locked so she can't get in. So she take's her frustrations out on the snowmen.

Ian finally found someone.

She stole his first kiss, making me miss my photo.

I'm surprised she's shy.

She fell for him quickly. Ian took a little longer.

"I hear you got your first woohoo.""Yeah, when are you going to get yours?"

"As soon as my girl comes back, or when the phones work again. Whichever is sooner."I let them use the phones on the first day of each semester.

Everyone is out trying to make friends. Their parents won't live forever and they need connections to get ahead in their careers.

Ian was trying to sell this girl some coffee, until the clerk came over to annoy her, then she started to annoy him.

Then for some reason she glitched and everyone up and left.

You two really have nothing you could do."We've already maxed all our skills, our grade bar is full and we've finished learning the bookcase

skills."I guess you do really have nothing else to do. Ok, then I guess you can lounge around. Until someone

walks by. Then you can try to make friends.

I try to keep them busy. But there isn't much to do around here.

Most of the time, they just sit around and talk about what they're going to do to help.

Isaac was finally inducted into the secret society.

"I'm a good student, they can't just drag me away like this."

Electra, Didn't you notice your brother getting taken away."Sure, but I'm trying to finish this term paper. He can take care of himself, he had ten body points."

"Hey, you look a lot like your Grandfather.""You guys knew Grandfather Dante. How?""Didn't you know? He built our safe house."

"Grandfather died before I was born. I never knew him."

"No, he won't do. I like guys with black hair."

What's the matter, Ian?"I stayed out building snowmen too long. I got really cold."

You look really cold.

The phones should be up, so Isaac can call some of his society friends, and invite them over.

Ian finally warmed up.

Ethan met this girl downtown. They have two bolts.

They fell in love.

Things didn't happen this fast for real. I just don't have very many pictures.

I wanted to make sure each kid got to have their first kiss and first Woohoo because last generation that helped to make them platinum.

Electra was wooing this guy. He has elf ears. She has two bolts for him.

She gets her first kiss.

He falls for her.

Ethan proposes.

I didn't catch all the names. I'll try to get them in the next chapter.

Electra gets to have her first woohoo.

"You're not supposed to watch."Yes I am.

After getting dressed, Electra proposes. If Isaac lifts his restriction, his siblings will be able to move out.

Ian's girlfriend wanders by and Ian gets to have his first woohoo.

Now all the kids have had their firsts.

"I love you. Please marry me."

"Oh, so shiny."

They can't jump in each others arms. But she can still crush his fragile spine.

It seems she was wanting to be engaged to Ian.

Electra was still trying to make friends with this society member when they came and took Ethan away.

"What are you doing?""It's the chicken dance."

"Don't you know that dancing is against the law? You could get arrested.""No, I won't, But I will arrest you."

"Electra, Help me.""Nah, I'm still making friends, help yourself."

So Ethan gets taken away, and no one seems to care.

There's nothing to do here. I don't want Ethan to be too far ahead of Electra so I send him home. We can't use the rewards that are hidden in the basement anyways.

Wasting more time reading the novels they wrote. Almost all the novel include the apocalypse bomb.

The next night, they come and take Electra away.

She gets a welcome and a nice suit. which she will wear from now on.

She doesn't stay long.

The mascots and the cheerleader are starting to freeze on the sidewalk. I never let them in my house.

But we are nice enough to thaw them a little and send them on their way."I'm not being nice, I don't want an angry ghost like the one we have at home."

They finally come to take Ian away. Ian was friend with the society members before Electra and Ethan but for some strange reason they left him till last.

He stays long enough to get the free jacket and leaves.

I thought I'd do a portrait. But everyone was acting out.

That's better. From left to right we have Ian, who is going to do Intelligence. Electra doing Music. Then Isaac, Our heir, is doing Journalism. Lastly, Ethan is doing Adventure.

Ian and Isaac graduated Summa Cum Laude.

"Congratulations, Isaac."

I went ahead and sent Ian and Isaac home. There's nothing else for them to do here.

I wish we could keep the suit.

I guess those clothes aren't too bad.

Isaac follows close behind. Those clothes suck. I'm glad we can make clothes at home.

The next day Electra and Ethan graduate Summa Cum Laude.

Ethan goes first.

Electra follows right behind.

I'm really glad college is over.I hope to see you soon. I have a feeling that chapter ten might take a while.

There are eight people in the house and only six beds.
