POINTS TO REMEMBER

Entries: Please complete an Entry Form for each Class you enter Please give an e-mail address if you have one, as well as a postal ad-dress. This is very useful if there are any last-minute messages. Children under 16 can be entered by a teacher (private speech/drama teacher or school teaching staff ) or by a parent or guardian. Over-16s and adults may enter as individuals. Fees: Where an entrance fee applies, payment should be by cheque. Please ensure this is made payable to “Wirral Festival” and not to any individual. Own Choice Items When selecting own choice items please be aware of the time limit. Adjudicators can penalise performers who over-run. Don’t forget to bring an extra copy of the performance piece you have chosen for use by the adjudicator. Please bear in mind that our audiences contain many small children and we ask you to exercise caution and to censor or to avoid altogether offensive or obscene material when making your own choice selection. Audience: Competitors receive tickets before the Festival and do not have to pay We welcome parents, friends and supporters to attend the Festival. A small charge is made for this. The Wirral Festival is self-financing so we rely on this charge plus performers‘ entrance fees to cover our essential costs. Silence is observed during performances and also while the adjudicator is making his or her comments. At appropriate times please feel free to applaud the competitors.

‘Thank you for your co-operation and thank you for supporting The Wirral Festival.’
