The Big Wave

Section 4 Summary {Beginning}

In the Beginning of the section the big wave comes. When the big wave comes Jiya and his family happen to be in the wrong

place at the wrong time. When the wave comes it does lots of damage to the village .

Section 4 Summary {Middle}

In the middle Kino Jiyas friend finds Jiya on the beach Jiyas parents dead and Jiya fainted because earlier he saw them and did not want to believe it . Then Kino took Jiya home when they got home they gave Jiya some new clothes and warm soup.

Section 4 Summary{End}

When Jiya wakes up Kinos mom and dad pretend to be Jiyas parents and Kino Jiyas brother. But when he does wake up all he wants to do is get up so he can eat and then so he can go back to sleep.

Section 5 {Begging }

In the begging of the section Kinos dad finds the gate keeper on the beach and tell him about Jiya . The gate keeper is willing to take in Jiya because he has many other orphans. No Kino cries, that’s not fair! You can’t do that .``Kinos father then says`` ,How about we let Jiya decide.

Section 5 {Middle}

•In the middle Jiya decides to stay read the book to find out the rest.
