13th April 2018 - Two students Ms.Sangeeta Lakhnotra of (Class XII) and Master

Chinmay Bhatt of (Class XI) were invited by the Bombay Stock Exchange to participate

at the 3rd Level BIFO Olympiad. Mr.Jagdish Jani was awarded the Best Teacher award.

21st April 2018 - Students of class VI visited the local SBI Branch and the Post office as

part of the Integrated learning.

2nd May 2018 - Pre Primary children celebrated Summer day at Bal Vatika and Swapna

Shrishti.

3rd May 2018 - A tearful farewell was given to Mrs Chetna Mane by the staff members.

24th May 2018 - Inauguration of Digital library by UH at the Town Hall Meeting.

25th June 2018 - Mr Arun Rishi addressed the students in the School Morning Assembly on Clapping Therapy.

A safety workshop cum knowledge of Fire Extinguishers was given to the Senior Students as part of the OTJS activity.

27th June 2018 - Investiture Ceremony for the appointment of School Head Boy and Head Girl and House Captains and Vice Captains was organised.

28th June 2018 - Eduheal Merit certificates were given to the Students and the Staff members in the School Assembly.

24th July 2018 - Workshop on ‘Safety in Labs ‘for students of classes X and XI Science under OTJS by Safety and Medical Department.

Four students went to Ahmedabad to take part in the TCS- IT Quiz on 3rd & 4th August 2018.

6 students participated in the Inter School Contest at Veraval in

Poster Making, English Quiz and Folk Dance and one of our students

Ms Dhanvi Rajkotia secured 3rd position in the Poster Making

competition amongst 28 participants on 25th August 2018.

Scholastic Book Exhibition was inaugurated by Mrs Tiwari ,wife of UH

on 28th Aug 2018.

Students of classes XI and XII Commerce went to Sintex factory at

Lunsapur as part of Intergrated Learning accompanied by two staff

members on 29th & 30th Aug 2018.

Two of our students participated in the Kala Mahakumbh on 22nd

August 2018 in Music in organ category. Master Maulik Bhambaniya

of class IX and Master Aayush Pampaniya of class VII in the Guitar and

organ category respectively. Master Ayush Pampaniya has qualified

for the second level of State competition in the organ category.

Teachers’ day programme was celebrated in the school on 5th

September 2018. UH of Jafrabad and the Principal and the staff of both the schools were present on the occasion along with the FH’s of both Units.

ISO Audit was held in the school on 4th September 2018. On 4th September 2018, A Talk on “ELIMINATION OF PLASTIC

WASTE” by Mr ENLV Prasad in the School Assembly. As a part of Swatch Bharat, GCW Management has taken a Special drive for collection of Dry Plastic Waste items from our GCW Colony.

Scholarship exam for the Motion Academy, Kota was held on 8th September for the students of classes IX and above on 8th

September 2018. On 14th September 2018, Hindi Diwas celebrated in the

school. Special Assembly was conducted on the occasion.

Workshop of Safety of Domestic Gas cylinder by Mr Ankit from Baroda for the school staff members on 24th September 2018.

Hindi competitions being organised by the Indian Customs Department for the school students from classes VI and above. The Dy. Commissioner (Customs) Mr Mahesh Kumar was present for the same on 26th September 2018.

On 2nd October 2018, Gandhi Jayanti & Shastri Jayanticelebrated with great pomp and show. Mr Vijay Agarwal, Assistant Commissioner was present for the occasion. He addressed the students in the Special Assembly organised and also distributed prizes to the meritorious students for the events of Hindi Pakhwada. A plantation drive was also held where by Mr Vijay Agarwal also planted a sapling. House hold articles were distributed to the needy people where the students had made contribution.

An Emergency Evacuation drill was conducted in the school in the presence of the safety department of the school on 5th Oct 2018.

o Children’s day was celebrated with full enthusiasm and Alumni day was also celebrated on 14th Nov 2018.

o Alumni day celebrated with full vigour and energy. Mr MukulSharma Asst Commcr(Fin) and Asst Cdrt Mr ArohanSharma,Indian Coast Guard addressed the Alumni gathering on 17th Nov 2018.

o Mines Safety and Environment Week-Drawing and Painting competition for various classes and age groups held on 19th Nov 2018.

o Information Security Day celebrated on 30th Nov 2018 by the IT department of UTCL, GCW-Kovaya. Classes IX and above took part in the Information security quiz. Mr.Paresh Vyas (Comp Tr.) gave a speech on Information security during the Assembly.
