In Exodus 15:26 He said:“And said, if thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

In Proverbs 16:7, the Bible says: “When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

ways hard! Peace will become absent and if the reason why you are sinning is

because you want to gather wealth, God says, if you gather it in the middle of the day it will disappear. If you sin, death will follow. On the other side, He says, if you run away from sin your peace will not be able to stay on your body, even your enemies will be at peace with you. I do not know of you but I prefer holiness and I will rather run away from sin so as to get the blessing of holiness.

In Luke 15:2, the Bible says the Pharisees wondered why Jesus Christ received sinners and ate with them. Nevertheless, the Almighty hates sin. He is very angry about sin

but He is not angry with you if you will come to Him. He will separate you from sin. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17:“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

This is why Jesus Christ said in Luke 5:30-32:“But their scribes and Pharisees

murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? And Jesus answering said unto them, they that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

God is saying, “I know you h a v e s i n n e d terribly but if you are willing to come to me I will wipe away your sin and separate you and sin for the rest of your life! If you will come to me wholeheartedly, I will receive you. I will change your life so that sin will become hateful to you!” His Blood cleanses from all sins! That is why He says in Isaiah 1:18:“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Let us conclude by looking at Luke 5:9 again. Here the Bible says Peter was astonished.What is

astonishment? It is a great wonder, something that causes you to open your mouth so wide you do not even know what to say. Somebody said wonder is that which causes you to wonder. In other words, you just open your mouth and you do not know what to say. Anyone who gets himself associated with Jesus Christ must get ready for daily wonders.

In Matthew 13:54, the Bible said because of His mighty works and wisdom the people were astonished. In Matthew 15:29-31, the Lord says He made the dumb to speak. He made the maimed whole. He made the lame to walk. He made the blind to see and He caused the people to be astonished. In Mark 2:1-12 when Jesus raised up that

man who was brought in by four people, t he peop le w e r e as ton ished . W h e n H e went to Jairus' h o u s e a n d raised up a girl that was already dead, the re were astonishment. In Mark 4:35-41 after Jesus s p o k e a sentence and the storm was st i l led, the

Bible said, the disciples came to Him and said: “What manner of man is this that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” the Bible said they marveled with a great wonder.

The reason He can cause so much astonishment in people's lives is simply because of His name.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2 He said: “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.”

When we consider the names of the Lord Jesus Christ, according to Isaiah 9:6, the very first one there is, “Wonderful,” which means “full of w o n d e r s ” . A c c o r d i n g t o Exodus15:11, the Bible tells us:“Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?”

When we are talking about our Jesus, people will say we are exalting Him because we are His followers. This is why I like to hear the testimonies of idol worshippers concerning Jesus. Let us turn to the testimony of Nebuchadnezzar. He was not a Jew. He was not related to Jesus Christ in any way but hear his testimony in Daniel 4:1-3:“Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. How great are his signs! And how mighty are his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.”

Some years later one of his

successors in Daniel 6:26-27 also gave a testimony concerning our Lord. Let us just read verse 27:“He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in Heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.”

He is a wonder-working God.Not only can He perform wonders for you, He can perform wonders through you. He can turn you to a channel of blessing. In Acts 6:8, the Bible tells us how God used Stephen. He was full of the Holy Ghost and of faith and the Bible says God performed wonders through him. No one man can do the work God wants to do in this world. God turned Stephen to a miracle producer. Peter, the ordinary fisherman, the man who was astonished because God brought fish into his boats, according to Acts 3:1-10 became someone who was causing the people around to be astonished. He told the lame man to get up and walk and he walked! The Bible said the people gathered and they were amazed! A man who was a total failure became someone who was causing amazement to people.

In Acts 19:11-12 we find that somebody who used to be called Saul

of Tarsus, who hated the Christians and was killing them and throwing them into jail, came in contact with Jesus and he too became someone who was causing astonishment because his handkerchief alone was casting out demons. As a matter of fact, if you will believe, the Almighty God can turn you into a living pleasant astonishment. Acts 5:12-16 tells us that Peter's shadow brought healing to the sick people and everywhere he went, the sick and the diseased were lined up on the street for his shadow to fall on them!

The God who did that for Peter can do the same thing for you. If we are going to take the whole w o r l d f o r J e s u s , w e n e e d extraordinary anointing and God is more than willing! He keeps on looking for whom to send, so that if you can go, signs will follow. Are you a candidate for signs and wonders? I am not just talking about you receiving miracles from God, I am talking about the Almighty God using you to perform signs and wonders. If you are ready and willing to be a candidate for signs and wonders, ask God to anoint you and make you a candidate for signs and wonders today.

spouse and I were asked to go for a test. We went and my wife was diagnosed of blocked fallopian tubes. I tried all I could to cut off from the relationship but all was to no avail.

I attended the May 2013 Holy Ghost Service and I was able to see Pastor Adeboye after the programme and he prayed for me. When I got back home, I
