A test configuration was set up to replicate the Tesla

transmission system in its simplest form.

A pulsed power source is connected to the upper and lower plates of the

transmitter.

The upper and lower plates of the receiver are connected to a meter.

The meter readings go to a computer.The first measurement was in an

empty container (air medium).

The second measurement was with sand in the bottom of the container (sand medium).

This small test of voltage detection through different media does not prove Tesla was involved with the

Tunguska Explosion.

However, the test does show his method of power transmission

through the earth is different from radio waves which do not transmit

through sand as easily as air.

Tesla also wrote that his transmission system would work underwater and make submarine

communication possible.
