I would like to encourage all families to come and support the students and Mrs Reardon on the wonderful work they have undertaken on Mongolia and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the CWA. Fred Hollows Humanity Award Today I am in Sydney with Ethan and Mr Bellman as Ethan receives his Fred Hollows Humanity Award. The award recognises year 6 students who reflect the values Fred Hollows lived by. This is the second year in a row our school has had a student receive the award and something I am very proud of. Principal’s position Just to keep the community up to date, the principal position for Croppa Creek has been advertised and will close on Wednesday 14 th of September. Just a reminder that the panel are not allowed to discuss any part of the process, so please to not place them in an awkward position by enquiring. I will keep the community up to date whenever information is available. Glue Sticks and Tissues It would be greatly appreciated if parents could ensure their children have a glue stick with them at school. Also, if your child has a runny nose, please send tissues with them as the school can no longer provide. Parents and Community Members are invited to attend the
CWA Country of Study: Mongolia Presentation on
Wednesday the 7th September at 10am.
Croppa Creek students will be sharing their knowledge of Mongolia learnt during HSIE in Term 2.
This will be followed by a Guest Speaker
organised by the Yallaroi CWA and
conclude with lunch prepared by the CWA ladies (which is always delicious!)
This day is a wonderful opportunity for the wider community to come together at school and be amazed by the fantastic work the students have done in the classroom.
