Happy 2020, trust you all had some quality time with family

and friends over Xmas, ate lots of great food and...had an extra

drink or two to wash it all down.

Maila’s Kitchen opens Friday 3rd January and

Thursday/Friday/Saturday nights thereafter. Lots of variety on the

menu to suit all tastes and hopefully we can attract a number of

new faces to the club as word spreads. Our chefs, Saroj and Ram

are looking forward to meeting and serving you.

2020 PENNANTS SEASON The club will be running internal trials on

Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the months of January and February.

Bowlers who wish to be considered for selection must play regularly on these

days.

2020 MENS PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP The draw is on the noticeboard. Good luck

to all participants.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT FOR LADIES CLUB.

TWBC PRESIDENTS REPORT for DECEMBER Our ladies Christmas lunch was a very happy day with 60 ladies enjoying a lovely lunch prepared by Ging and a beautiful Christmas Cake made by our Patron Jeanette. There was also the fun of the Kris Kringle. Plenty of frivolity and good friendship was shared on the day. It was lovely to welcome some Warrawee ladies, Sue O, Sue G, Annette, Heather, Helen and Peg. President Bob’s – Jenny wife joined us along with some members we have not seen for a while.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN JANUARY

We were all able to share in June Hing’s special 90th Birthday.

I was able to present some members with their Women’s Bowls Membership Recognition Certificates: Dot, Chris, Ai Choo and Judy all 10 years membership while Jan received her 20 year membership – congratulations ladies.

Ladies social bowls resume on Tuesday 7th January. The first event is the Major Singles look out for the entry form on the board. Some fun from our Christmas lunch

Although our numbers were down on previous years those who attended had an enjoyable night. The Burnley Brothers got us all up dancing and we enjoyed a lovely roast prepared by Sherrie and Steph. Thank you to all who attended.

Our numbers fluctuate so we are always wanting card players (make up a foursome), also anyone wanting to

learn to play Mahjong, Jenny is always willing to teach.

Why not come and play scrabble, we are a friendly group and would love to have you join us.
