The LiarThe Liar is about a man named Dorante who, through a series of lies, comes to realize that lying will not get him what he wants. Director Bill Morris wanted a realistic Paris scene conveyed through lights with moments of saturated absurdity to emphasize the folly of Dorante’s lies. The use of tempered colors and more dramatic effects such as Roses, Trees, Leaves, and Crosses helped accomplish the director’s vision for the show.
