Title of Session Animal Behaviour and Statistical Significance.
Brief Outline of SessionA chance to carry out an experiment to gather data which you can then
analyse using a statistical test.

Title of Session Introduction to Industry and Commerce.
Brief Outline of Session
Form rival syndicates to design, manufacture and sell their product
to the company. The syndicate that has earned the most money at
the end of the exercise is judged the winner.

Title of Session Comparison of 2 Quantitative Practical Techniques.
Brief Outline of Session
How much iron is in an iron tablet? How do manufacturers ensure
the quality of their drugs? You will carry out experimental work
including Colorimetry and Redox Titration.

Title of Session Gods, Heroes and Tragedies - an Introduction to Classical Civilisation.
Brief Outline of Session
We will explore some famous figures from ancient Greek Literature
- like Achilles, Paris and Helen of Troy; Gods like Zeus and Aphrodite
as well as the complicated family of King Oedipus!

Title of Session Counting and Drawing in Binary.
Brief Outline of Session
Understand how computers count numbers in 1s and 0s and how
they draw pictures on the screen using 1s and 0s. Use magic tricks
to check for accuracy of 1s and 0s using playing cards.

Title of Session Dance Development.
Brief Outline of Session
Explore some of the different skills required in Dance through
analysis and creative choreography, using a professional dance work
to inspire and develop your own ideas.
