‘PARENTAL ADVISORY’ – The label is used to warn the owner that the album contains explicit content. E.g. Profane Language or Sexual References. This is important so that the owner is aware of the lyrical content before listening to it.

EFFECTS: The album cover has a grainy effect which affects the quality of the image . This particular effect makes the photo look as if it was taken a long time ago or a more ‘ancient’ look.

‘Take Care’ – The album title is written in italic with a simple font. ‘Take Care’ is placed on the bottom left, which looks as if the artist is looking down at it. ‘Take Care’ refers to wishing someone well – the title is somewhat a message to the audience about wishing them the best in the life .

SHOT-TYPE: They used a Mid-shot which shows Drake sitting down, holding a gold cup with a calm facial expression on his face. I believe they used this show to specifically focus on the artist’s expression and symbolic objects that represents him (gold cup= to show his wealth ).

ANCHORAGE: the album title ‘Take Care’ and Drake’s emotion correlates because they both signify being calmness, where drake is showing a neutral emotion and looking aware from the audience.

PROPS: The Gold objects and his jewellery is represents his wealth and success.

LIGHTING: Low-key lighting is used for this shoot. The lighting works well as it reflects his mood and emotion shown in the image.

BODY LANGUAGE: Drake is shown relaxing (leaning on the table) and probably deep in thought (looking down ).
