PE Kit needed every day but especially for : P.E. This term for everyone is on a Wednesday and Thursday,

your child will need indoor and outdoor kit i.e. Black PE pumps

for inside , trainers if you wish for outside. PE is a national

curriculum subject and a note is needed if your child can’t take

part for any reason.

Bikeability started this week for Year 5 the last session is on Monday 15th June and they have assured us that it will continue to 4p.m.

Tomorrow we will be taking part in the annual Walk of Witness for Tarleton , your child can attend if you have returned the reply slip sent home on Monday . Please meet at Holy Trinity field at 1.45. p.m. And meet us back there at 3p.m. To collect your child if you wish you are welcome to sit with us on the float if there is room. We will also be taking part in the Mere Brow walking Day on Sunday 21st June letter to follow. The theme is God’s Beautiful Garden , please wear flowery

T shirts or colourful T shirts , thank you. Creative homework topic for Y2 to Y6 on our Brilliant Bodies/healthy eating theme instead of sheets—this can be a painting, model, project book, something you have made or sewn, a dance , some gymnastics ,entries are due by Wednesday 8th July and will be showcased in the hall with prizes for each year group given out on Friday 10th July. ( Any R&Y1 s wanting to take part voluntarily may do so too)

Music tuition : Brass and Recorder continues every

Tuesday. Instruments needed for the

lesson, thank you. Ukulele on a Friday lunchtime.

Next week 4 for School lunches. Please book sandwiches at the office. See over for special day!

On Thursday the 11th June in the afternoon we had a PTFA fundraiser class by class in the Hall. Brian from Teamtheme ran it for us and Ian his boss has offered us the following prizes:

A medal for each child taking part. A football for the person in each class that raises the most funds.

A pair of football boots or voucher for the person who raises the most in the whole school.

Each class had a certain amount of time to complete circuits around the hall on the gymnastic apparatus. The children had a sponsor form before half term and over the holiday we asked them to gain as many sponsors as they can but only from known people to keep safe!

Thank you all for your continued support. Please send in monies collected by Friday 19th June.

Whole Class Photographs were taken on Tuesday 9th June , we are going to have groups like the long format but on A4 , I hope you like them!

Our annual Road Safety awareness for all Infants : Rec, Y1 & Y2 started on Tuesday 9th June in the afternoon. A big thank you to Mrs Nightingale for organising and Mrs Ball and Mrs. Barron for helping again this year. Please make sure permission slips are returned to take part. Thursday 18th June is our Teddy Bear’s Picnic day if your child usually has a lunch no need to order , all can bring Teddies. Some Year 6 are visiting their high schools that day. If your child would specially like a lunch that day please order by Monday 15th June, thank you.
