Introduction

Takseer e Jafar is a tool that provides easy to use options for creating different types of Takseer. Takseer is a

process of Ilm e Jafar used in both Akhbar and Asaar. Whether you are creating a Taweez doing a Takhseer or

trying to conclude answer from a Mustehsila e Jafar, this tool will help. Now you can do calculations of hours or

days in seconds. Besides doing Takseer it can also be used to calculate sum (Jamal) of the Asas (Question /

Statement) or of complete Takseer.

Takseer e Jafar has following options:

Perform following types of Takseer.

o Sadar e Mokhar.

o Mokhar e Sadar.

o .. More will be added in future releases.

Calculate Jamal of Takseer and Asas using any of 28 Abajad of Jafar or with your own defined Abjad.

Create New Abajad.

Clean Non Abjad letters from an Urdu/Persian/Arabic Statement of Asas.

Perform Takhlees of given Asas/Statement.

Supports Takseer of up to 3000 letters (Depends the processing capability of your system).

Save Takseer Output as HTML.

Options to modify all aspects of the generated Takseer, including the following:

o Font Size, Style and Color.

o Background Color.

o Change Title and Footer of HTML Output.

o Toggle visibility of numbering of Takseer rows and columns

o Change Border Size of Takseer Table.

o Change Cell Padding/Spacing of Takseer Table Cells.

o Include current date and time in Takseer.

System Requirements

Installation and proper functioning of this software requires that your system should meet following minimum

requirements

Operating system

Windows XP (SP2) or higher ( Software tested on win XP, Win 7 and Win 8)

Hardware

At-least 1 GB RAM

Software

Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 Installed

Urdu Support Installed

Phonetic Urdu Keyboard (Optional).

Installation

Download the software

Unzip the setup file.

Right click the setup exe file and select Run as Administrator

Follow the setup screens to finish the installation.

Start the program from the Start Menu you must have full admin rights to use this program, if you get an

error in the program execution, then right click the exe file/shortcut and select Run as Administrator.

Getting Started Tutorial

Getting Started with Takseer e Jafar software is easy. Follow the steps below to create a Takseer.

1. Run Takseer e Jafar from the Start menu.

2. Type the Asas or Statement as shown below.

3. Click Saaf to clean Non Abjad Characters.

4. Select the type of Takseer to perform.

5. Toggle to Select Jamal, if selected the Jamal/ Sum of Asas and Takseer will be performed in the final

output.

6. Select Abjad for Jamal/Sum. In most cases you should select Qamri.

7. Toggle to Select Takhlees, if selected the Takhlees of Asas will be done before Takseer is performed

in the final output.

8. Click OK to perform the Takseer o Jamal.

9. Save or Print the final output.

The main interface of Takseer e Jafar software consists of easy to use options and

Main Menu

1. File

1. New : Clear current Asas for creating new Takseer.

2. Open : Open saved Asas.

3. Save: Save Asas to text file.

4. Exit: exit this application.

2. Edit

1. Undo: Undo last edit from Asas.

2. Clear: Clear current Asas.

3. Select All: Select all the letters of Asas.

4. Copy: Copy Selection from Asas

5. Cut: Cut Selection from Asas.

6. Paste: Paste copied text to Asas.

1. Mokhar e Sadar: Enable or Disable Takseer e Mokhar e Sadar.

2. Sadar e Mokhar: Enable or Disable Takseer e Sadar e Mokhar.

3. Jamal: Enable or Disable Jamal.

4. Takhlees: Enable or Disable Takhlees.

5. Clean: Clean Asas from Non-Abjad characters.

1. Abjad Manager: Click to open Abjad Manager, Abjad Manager can be used to add or edit

Abjads.

Click to open Options; Options for Takseer e Jafar report.

Main Toolbar

1. New :

Clear current Asas for creating new Takseer.

2. Open :

Open saved Asas.

3. Save:

Save Asas to text file.

4. Cut:

Cut Selection from Asas.

5. Copy:

Copy Selection from Asas

6. Paste:

Paste copied text to Asas.

7. Clean:

Clean Asas from Non-Abjad characters.

8. Reload:

Click to reload data, the Abjad data should be reloaded after modifying/adding Abjad from

Abjad Manager.

Actions Toolbar

1. Takseer Selection Dropdown:

Click to select type of Takseer to be performed from dropdown list.

2. Abjad Selection Dropdown:

Click to select Abjad to be used for Jamal ( Sum ) of Takseer and Asas.

3. Takhlees Toggle Button:

Click to Enable or Disable Takhlees of Asas during Takseer.

4. Ok Button:

Click to perform Takseer on the entered Asas ( Statement ).

Abjad Manager

Abjad List: Abjad Names in Arabic, English along with serial numbers are displayed on the top. To edit or

duplicate any Abjad double click on its name.

Toolbar:

o Cancel:

Close Abjad Manager Window.

o New:

Create a New blank Abjad.

o Refresh:

Reload Abjad Names and Data.

o Delete:

Delete selected Abjad.

Abjad Editor

1. Serial: Unique Serial Number for Abjad, use the button to generate.

2. Abjad Names: Enter Abjad Names in Arabic/Urdu/ Persian and English.

3. Clear Button: Clear all the data entered.

4. Letters Entry Area: Insert/type Abjad letters along with commas here using keyboard.

5. Haroof Count: Displays Haroof/Letter count, it should not exceed 28.

6. Abjad Keyboard: Keyboard to insert Abjad letters in Letters Entry Area.

7. Cancel/Save Buttons: Click to Save or Cancel Buttons.

Report Options

1. Page Options:

a. Report Page Title: textbox to enter HTML Report Title, visible in the title-bar of browser.

b. Report Page Background Color: Button to change Background color of report.

c. Report Page Font Options: Show report font options dialogue box.

d. Preview: Shows the preview of the selected options.

2. Report Page Heading: Heading to be displayed on the top of Takseer HTML report.

3. Takseer Table Options:

a. Border: Width of Takseer table border in Pixels, set to 0 to remove border.

b. Width: Width of table.

c. Cell Spacing: Cell spacing in Pixel units to be applied to Takseer table.

d. Cell Padding: Cell Padding in Pixel units to be applied to Takseer table.

4. Report Page Footer Text: Text to be displayed on the footer of report.

5. Show Date Time: Show date and time in the report.

6. OK Button: Apply changes/Options.

7. Cancel Button: Cancel /Close this window.

8. Reset Button: Reset all options to default back to factory settings.

9. Help Button: Display help on using options.

Page Setup: Shows Internet Explorer Page setup for Printing Dialogue.

Print Preview: Shows Internet Explorer Print Preview Dialogue.

Print: Print Current HTML Takseer Document.

Save: Save Current HTML Takseer Document.

Heading : Page Heading [ Use Options to Change]

Date and Time: Date and Time of Takseer [ Use Options to Change]

Takseer Table: Table of Takseer of Asas [ Use Options to Change Table Options]

Jamal e Asas: Sum / Jamal of Asas using the selected Abjad
