PARTNERSHIP GOALS

• Build relationships with key stakeholders such as Clubs, Regions, Volunteers, Councils, Officials, Potential Sponsors and Supporters, Sport Waikato and SNZ

• Satisfaction survey: 70% in 2012• Arrange a Regional Swimming Waikato Awards at the end of the season• Create Volunteers Programme including induction

programme/training/database/acknowledgment

Strong relationships – to maximise the opportunities for Swimming

• Increase Brand Awareness – Continue regular newsletter / Develop Posters in Schools • Increase Media profile – Partner with TRN and Waikato Times

Promotion – to increase the profile of Swimming in the Region

• Develop sponsorship opportunities – Secure Principal Partner ($30K - $50K per annum)• Sponsorship budget (cash and contra) (a target of $200,000 sponsorship and funding

revenue)

PARTICIPATION GOALS

• Promote pathway - maintain an integrated swim calendar and development pathway including scholarships

• Improve Engagement at Events – Initiate event feedback survey for participants, volunteers and supporters, >70% satisfaction

Increase participation in Swimming Waikato

• Schools – Support SportsForce Officer and Sport Waikato Aqua Team to utilize the school network as an entry into swimming via promotion and resources to all schools

• Clubs – Meet annually with all Clubs in region

• Facilities – Ongoing advocacy for new investment, facilities maintenance, fair lane allocation etc.

• Arrange a Parents Evening to determine how SW can support• Arrange Coach Forum/Workshops• Create an Athletes’ Committee
