SSTILLTILL S SEARCHINGEARCHING P PLEASELEASE P PRAYRAY Many have asked about our search for an Associate Pastor. We have had a few candidates apply but circumstances have not worked out as of yet. We continue to search and ask for your prayers. We believe there is a person out there who would be a great fit for this ministry and we are trying to be patient in our search. Thank you to all of our congregation for remaining steady and joining us in praying for God’s leadership. We have been so blessed with past leaders and look forward to who will come among us next. Great things are happening at First Church Sedalia and God is blessing our congregation to be a blessing to this community and throughout the world. Let’s live King-dom honoring lives and believe that God is stirring in a soul to minister in this setting. It will be exciting to see how God answers our prayers. ~jimd.

WWORSHIPORSHIP A ARTSRTS A ACADEMYCADEMY On Tuesday, October 28 we will be launching our own Worship Arts Academy with some three week classes. Sign up on this weekend’s blue card (bulletin insert) if you’d like to be a part of one of our 3 new classes. They will run from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. at the Celebration Center. Nursery provided. ~Munchkin and Moms—taught by Ashley Peck. This class is for mom (& dads if they want) and children 9 month old up to 3 years. Music, movement and art are some of the areas that will be explored. This is a great time for children to come together and be social. ~Beginning Guitar—taught by Nick Veale. This class is a beginning guitar class. You will need to have access to your own guitar. ~Basic Signing Class—taught by Marsha Campe. If you want to learn some sign language, what better way to learn than with prayers? Several prayers will be taught as well as general greetings that you may find useful when coming in contact with a deaf person. The culminating activity will be to sign The Lord’s Prayer in church. Come join us as we learn to praise our Savior using our hands!
