Kat realized after graduating
from Rutgers University with
a Bachelors degree in
Psychology that she wanted
to return to her true passion,
baking. Within a few years,
she acquired an Associates
and Bachelors Degree in
Culinary Arts and Food
Service Management from
Johnson & Wales University.
Owner and Chef of Sweet
Chiix Catering, Kat has a
variety of experiences
preparing dishes for three to
four star restaurants as a line
cook and then traveling to
other countries to expose
herself in other types of
palettes. After returning from
her travels, she felt it was
necessary to share her
epicurean adventures.
She continues to experiment
with recipes, always
modifying and improving.
Chef Kats specialties are
desserts. Her cheesecakes
continue to be a hit at family
gatherings, and now they are
available to the public. Hurry
and try out the mini-
