Requirements for Meshing

• STAR-CCM+에서 Volume Mesh 를 생성할 수 있는 Surface의 요구조건

– 각 영역(Region)은 내부 공간에서 볼 때 닫혀져 있는 조건일 것

– Surface에 아래와 같은 Error가 없을 것.

Surface Error를 Repair Panel을 사용하여수정 할 수 있다.

• 선택한 Part 또는 Region에서 Repair Surface… Tool (RST) 을 준비합니다

– Surface Preparation Options 창에서 Parts(s)나 Region(s)을 선택 합니다.

• 어떤 Meshing 단계라도 RST(repair surface tool) 을

사용할 수 있다.

What is the Interface

• 각 Multi-domain 간의 data 교환을 위해 생성되는 가상의 경계면

• Fluid-Fluid: Internal interface

– 내부의 질량과 에너지의 전송을 허용

• Fluid-Solid: Contact interface

– 내부의 에너지의 전송만을 허용
