Visteon Supplier portal – General Introduction:

The following guide is designed to help suppliers learn how to register a newcompany or supplier security administrator (SSA), obtain an ID for an existingcompany, reset a forgotten ID or password, and access the supplier portal.

1. If a Supplier contact encounters issues using the Self-Service Reset tool for Passwords and forgotten User ID (CDS IDs), then they should call Visteon Service Desk for their country.y2. If a Supplier contact is waiting for approval on a CDS ID to access Visteon applications, they should contact their Company’s Security Service Administrator(SSA) for approval status on their CDS ID request. Approvals for CDS IDs are controlled by the company’s SSA and not VisteonCDS IDs are controlled by the company s SSA and not Visteon.

To Register a New CompanyTo Register a New Company


Visit Visteon’s public website http://visteon.com/index.html

Select Suppliers from the top menu and then Current Suppliers from the drop menu.


Select a region to access the login page


Select “CDS ID and Password Help” to launch the supplier access system

Select “Supplier CDS ID Request” to launch the access request form


Select “Register New Company” and follow the instructions on the resulting page

Supplier Security Administrator(SSA), complete the requiredregistration NOTE: The“Proposed Visteon Approver”should be your main contact atVisteon.

Be sure to review the Terms andConditions associated with usingthe supplier portal

If you agree to the terms andconditions, select “Submit” tosend your registration request.

You will receive an e-mail notificationabout the status of your request.

Once your company name got registered you can request for User ID and Password

Select “Supplier CDS ID Request” to launch the access request form

Enter the first three letters of

Select your company name from the search results.

After Company Name selection, Complete the required information and review the terms andreview the terms and conditions and select the “Submit” button

You will receive the e-mailYou will receive the e mail confirmation with your CDS ID and password

Once you receive the User ID and Password you can login to access supplier portal

Enter your CDS ID and password as indicated

Select “myVisteon Portal” fromSelect myVisteon Portal fromthe from “Goto” drop-down list

Select “Sign In” to access the Supplier PortalSupplier Portal

Note: it may take several minutes for the components to load properly. If h i i i ifi l h li kthe wait is significant, select the link to continue; however, some functionality may be affected.


Once logged in to the Select the “door” icon on the G2V page

portal, use the menu on the left to access documents and applications

to log out of the supplier portal and close your browser when prompted.


Note: For security purposes, passwords expire every 90 days. So during Login, users will be

prompted to choose a new password about two weeks before the 90 days expiration. When prompted, follow the reset instructions (offline) and select to continue.

Select “Forgot your CDS ID?” button to connect to Visteon’s self-service password reset tool.

Select the “Forgot your Password?” button to connect to Visteon’s self-service password reset tool.

Enter your CDS ID and select Submit to continue.

Reset Forgotten Password


Reset Forgotten Password

An e-mail message will be sent to the address on file with a link and anthe address on file with a link and anaccess code. Follow the directionsin the e-mail to reset yourpassword. Note: the access codeis only valid for 30 minutesis only valid for 30 minutes.

Once accepted, you will beprompted to select whichpassword you would like to resetpassword you would like to reset.Selections will vary based youraccess. You can reset a singleaccount or multiple accounts at thesame time Allow a few minutes forsame time. Allow a few minutes forthe system to update beforelogging in.
