This option enables ?ou to create the slabs an# generate floor loa# in case of buil#ings

which are create# b? importing *F files from A8TCA.

7efore using this comman# Import the *F file from CA with line plan. Note the *an# 4 coor#inates for e)treme #iagonals between which ?ou want to create the slabs.

,hen ?ou select this option ST8S #ispla?s the #ialog bo) as shown belowO

In this #ialog bo) first enter the * an# 4 co-or#inates for starting point an# en# point

 between which ?ou want to create slabs. For B coor#inates ?ou can enter height of

 buil#ing till which ?ou want to generate the floor loa#. For single floor it will be ;m to /m.

Then in Floor loa# name region gi>e specific name if reuire#. 9i>e the intensit? of loa#with that t?pe. Categorie it as ea# or 0i>e loa#. Clic@ on A## button. This will a## the

loa# in Floor loa# list.

For other t?pe of loa# again repeat the proce#ure. an# clic@ A## button.If ?ou want to #elete an? loa# from floor loa# list select that loa# an# clic@ on elete 

 button.

n clic@ing Sa>e button the floor loa# will be generate#. ,hen ?ou select @ buttonthe slabs will be generate#. It can be seen on plan if not shown press F5 button to get the

,hen ?ou select this option ST8S gi>es ?ou two options to calculate the win# loa#

on structure. 8nless this option is use# the option for 0A - (PT - ,IN 0Ais inacti>e.

B< FRAMING METOD - In this metho# ST8S computes the horiontal win#loa# on the frames an# its #istribution along floors.

B< NOTIONAL METOD 4 In this metho# ST8S calculates the area an# C9 of

e>er? floor #epen#ing on the geometr?. The win# loa# in * an# 4 #irection is assume# toact at this C9 of floor as no#al loa#. The C9 no#e will act as master no#e. ,ith help of

aster sla>e concept an# #iaphragm action ST8S will #istribute total win# loa# fromC9 no#e to all other no#es on that floor.

After performing slab #esign when we open the slab #esign the menu Section 0ines will

 be present. ,hen we clic@ the sub option Auto generate the section lines will be

generate# along * an# 4 gri#s. After clic@ing the option Auto generate another sub menu

mo#if? option will be highlighte#.

After generating section lines along * an# ? gri#s the menu Create Slab 0ongitu#inal

Section in *F format will get highlighte#. In *F format we can see the 0ongitu#inalSection of slabs as per the gri# generate# along * an# 4 #irections.

In the CC esign clic@ on the menu ispla? Setting to see the following #ialogue bo)

section lines will be generate#. therwise it will generate the #efault section lines.
